  • Bring the scar history and any relevant clinician advice, particularly after surgery or injury.
  • Seek medical assessment for a changing, painful or unexplained area before considering camouflage.
  • Avoid tanning to create a temporary colour match.

Aftercare

  • Wash your hands before touching the treated area. Clean gently using the treatment-specific instructions; do not scrub, pick flakes or add exfoliating products.
  • Keep makeup off recovering skin and avoid soaking, swimming and direct sun while it heals. Follow the individual care plan for products and when activities can resume.
  • Seek prompt medical advice for spreading redness, worsening pain, pus or fever. Tell Zoe about concerns as well; a cosmetic review does not replace medical care.
