Discuss the shades you like and how you usually wear lip colour.
Review the proposed colour direction in relation to your natural lips.
Confirm the intended definition and the individual follow-up plan.
Review skin preparation, sterile single-use pigment tools and the precautions for the specific treatment area before pigment work begins.

Before choosing

Lip Blush adds pigment; it does not physically increase lip volume like a filler treatment.
Previous lip pigment or treatment can affect colour planning.

Preparing for treatment

Bring a shade reference and details of previous lip pigment, fillers or other lip treatments; these can affect the design and appointment planning.
Mention cold sores, product allergies, medicines and conditions that affect healing. A history of cold sores may require advice from your own clinician before treatment.
Do not arrive with an active cold sore, cracked or inflamed lips. Contact the studio before attending so the appointment can be reassessed. Avoid scrubbing or picking the lip surface in preparation.

Aftercare

Wash your hands before touching the area. Do not pick peeling skin or rub the treated lips.
Follow the supplied cleansing and lip-care instructions and use only the agreed products on the healing area. Keep lipstick and other makeup away from broken or healing skin.
Avoid swimming, soaking and sauna while the skin heals. Protect the area from sun exposure; ask which lip protection is appropriate once healed.
Seek medical advice for increasing pain, spreading redness, pus or a concerning reaction, and let the studio know.

Follow-up

Compare the settled colour rather than judging from the immediately-after stage. Review colour, definition and any uneven areas with Zoe before deciding on further work.

Does Lip Blush make lips physically fuller?

No. It changes the appearance of colour and definition through pigment. It is not a filler treatment.

Will it match my favourite lipstick exactly?

A lipstick shade can be a helpful reference, but pigment work cannot promise identical colour or coverage. Planning considers your natural lip colour and intended finish.

Do I need Lip Blush or Lip Neutralisation?

Lip Blush focuses on the desired colour and definition; Neutralisation focuses on balancing existing tones. Your natural colour and intended change guide the choice.

Can I have treatment if I get cold sores?

Tell Zoe before arranging the appointment. Lip treatment can be relevant to a history of cold sores, so discuss prevention with your own clinician. Do not proceed over an active outbreak.
