Before choosing
- The eye area needs particular care; disclose eye conditions, recent procedures and product reactions.
- A cosmetic tattoo is a lasting choice and cannot be changed as easily as everyday eyeliner.
Preparing for treatment
- Bring examples of your usual eyeliner and disclose existing pigment so the design can be reviewed with your eyes open and relaxed.
- Tell Zoe about dry eye, eyelid inflammation, eye conditions, recent surgery, contact lenses and reactions to pigments, adhesives or cosmetics. Ask your eye clinician about suitability where relevant.
- Arrive without eye makeup. Discuss removal of lash extensions and contact lenses before the appointment; bring glasses if needed. Do not change prescribed medicines to prepare for cosmetic treatment.
Aftercare
- Keep hands clean and avoid rubbing, picking or scratching the treated lash-line skin. Follow the supplied eye-area cleansing instructions.
- Use only products agreed for the treated area. Keep ordinary eye makeup away from healing skin and confirm when contact lenses and makeup can be resumed.
- Avoid swimming, soaking and sauna while the skin heals. Do not apply a generic body-tattoo ointment close to the eye without specific guidance.
- Seek medical advice promptly for eye pain, worsening swelling, discharge or vision changes rather than waiting for a cosmetic review.
Follow-up
- Review the settled placement and colour after healing before deciding whether more pigment is appropriate. Fresh swelling and colour are not the final appearance.
- Agree the timing and price of review or further pigment work individually. A cosmetic tattoo is a lasting design choice, even as its colour changes.

What is the difference between lash enhancement and eyeliner?
Lash enhancement concentrates definition along the lash line. A classic line, wing or shaded finish adds a more visible makeup shape.
Can I choose a winged or smoky style?
Those are design options to discuss. Eyelid shape, existing pigment and the proposed placement determine what is appropriate.
Is this the same as a tattoo on the eyeball?
No. This service concerns pigment in lash-line skin. It is not scleral or corneal tattooing.
Can I have eyeliner if I have dry or sensitive eyes?
Disclose symptoms and any diagnosis before booking. Eye-area suitability needs individual assessment and may require advice from your eye clinician.
Can I wear eye makeup straight afterward?
